I/P converter

A bubble with "Y" as the second letter (e.g. FY) with a small square beside it containing "I/P". An electric (dashed) signal goes in and a pneumatic (//) signal comes out.

Meaning

Converts the 4–20 mA controller output to a 0.2–1 barg air signal for the actuator. Often built into the positioner. Accessory of the control valve; not modelled separately.
