Piping specification break

ISO 10628-2 (group 25) / PIP PIC001 (line conventions)
Drawn as
A short bar across the line with the two piping class codes written on either side of it (e.g. A1A | D6A).
Meaning
Where the piping class (material and pressure rating) changes, usually at a valve or a flange. Not a physical item, but it tells you the rating on each side. Use it for each line's spec.
Variants
  • Some legends use a small diamond or a "Z" across the line
  • Often sits right next to the last valve rated for the higher class
Not physical hardware. Read it, then skip it in the 3D model.
