Meaning

Gasketed or welded plate exchanger: compact cooling-medium/seawater coolers, TEG coolers. Becomes plate-heat-exchanger.

Some legends draw a rectangle with a diagonal zig-zag
Printed-circuit (diffusion-bonded) exchangers are drawn as a solid block, which is a different component (printed-circuit-heat-exchanger)
