Meaning
Electrically isolates a pipeline (cathodic protection) from the plant. Seen on risers, export lines and at battery limits. Becomes insulating-joint.
Variants
- Insulating flange kits: a flange pair with a thick bar between them
- Some legends draw two flange bars with a small gap
