Insulating joint
Electrical isolation for cathodically protected pipelines. Monolithic: a weld-in joint of two forged hubs locked over insulating rings, with the exposed filler band, an internal lining, epoxy coating, CP test terminals each side, a red / white warning band, a tag plate and bevelled pups. Gasket kit: a weld-neck flanged joint with a full-face G10 Type E gasket, full-length insulating sleeves in the bolt holes, G10 washers, steel washers and nuts both sides. Ports are the pup weld ends.
Installation
Copies piping/insulating-joint.tsx and the shared lib/ into src/components/deck-twin/. Needs three, @react-three/fiber and @react-three/drei. See installation for the manual route.
Usage
import { Canvas } from '@react-three/fiber'
import { OrbitControls } from '@react-three/drei'
import { Stage } from './components/deck-twin/lib/stage'
import { InsulatingJoint } from './components/deck-twin/piping/insulating-joint'
export default function Scene() {
return (
<Canvas shadows camera={{ position: [8, 5, 9], fov: 35 }}>
<Stage>
<InsulatingJoint />
</Stage>
<OrbitControls makeDefault />
</Canvas>
)
}

P&ID
Two heavy bars across the line with a gap and a zig-zag or hatch between them, labelled IJ or IK (insulating kit), at the boundary between a cathodically protected pipeline and topsides or plant piping.
Found where a pipeline or riser meets the plant. Plain double bars are an ordinary flanged joint; a monolithic IJ is a weld-in item, an insulating gasket kit is a flange pair with an IK note.

For agents
Machine-readable entry with props, ranges, defaults and ports:
Or fetch /r/insulating-joint.json, or copy a ready-made instruction:
Add the Deck Twin "Insulating joint" component to this project. Run `npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz add insulating-joint` (it copies the file and the shared lib into src/components/deck-twin/), then `npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz info insulating-joint` for its props, ranges and ports. Render <InsulatingJoint /> inside a React Three Fiber <Canvas shadows>, wrapped in <Stage> from src/components/deck-twin/lib/stage. Set props from my data (metres, NPS in inches, ASME class) and leave the rest at defaults. Install three, @react-three/fiber, @react-three/drei and @types/three if they're missing.
