Gasket
Flange gasket sized for the NPS and class. Spiral-wound per ASME B16.20 with stainless inner ring, alternating metal and filler winding, and a centring ring sized to the bolt circle with the winding colour on its rim and filler stripes. Ring-type joint in octagonal or oval section on the R-ring pitch diameter. B16.21 compressed-fibre sheet ring inside the bolts, with an identification tab. Open through the bore; plane of the gasket is YZ.
Installation
Copies piping/gasket.tsx and the shared lib/ into src/components/deck-twin/. Needs three, @react-three/fiber and @react-three/drei. See installation for the manual route.
Usage
import { Canvas } from '@react-three/fiber'
import { OrbitControls } from '@react-three/drei'
import { Stage } from './components/deck-twin/lib/stage'
import { Gasket } from './components/deck-twin/piping/gasket'
export default function Scene() {
return (
<Canvas shadows camera={{ position: [8, 5, 9], fov: 35 }}>
<Stage>
<Gasket />
</Stage>
<OrbitControls makeDefault />
</Canvas>
)
}

P&ID
Not drawn on P&IDs; on isometrics and joint details it is the thin element between two flange faces (a filled strip in section), called up in the bill of materials by type (SW, RTJ, sheet).
Type follows the piping class: spiral-wound for RF flanges, RTJ ring for ring-joint flanges (high pressure), sheet for FF / low-pressure utility.

Flexitallic. The geometry is generic and sized from public standards. It is not vendor CAD.
For agents
Machine-readable entry with props, ranges, defaults and ports:
Or fetch /r/gasket.json, or copy a ready-made instruction:
Add the Deck Twin "Gasket" component to this project. Run `npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz add gasket` (it copies the file and the shared lib into src/components/deck-twin/), then `npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz info gasket` for its props, ranges and ports. Render <Gasket /> inside a React Three Fiber <Canvas shadows>, wrapped in <Stage> from src/components/deck-twin/lib/stage. Set props from my data (metres, NPS in inches, ASME class) and leave the rest at defaults. Install three, @react-three/fiber, @react-three/drei and @types/three if they're missing.
