Instrument air package

Oil-free screw compressor in an acoustic enclosure (louvres, roof fan, controller), pre-filter and coalescer with auto drains, a twin-tower heatless desiccant dryer with switching valves, purge silencers and controller, an after-filter with dew-point transmitter and a vertical dry-air receiver with PSV, gauge, transmitter, inspection opening and auto drain. Enclosure scales with kw; the receiver wall comes from UG-27 for pressure.

Installation

$npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz add instrument-air-package

Copies packages/instrument-air-package.tsx and the shared lib/ into src/components/deck-twin/. Needs three, @react-three/fiber and @react-three/drei. See installation for the manual route.

Usage

import { Canvas } from '@react-three/fiber'
import { OrbitControls } from '@react-three/drei'
import { Stage } from './components/deck-twin/lib/stage'
import { InstrumentAirPackage } from './components/deck-twin/packages/instrument-air-package'

export default function Scene() {
  return (
    <Canvas shadows camera={{ position: [8, 5, 9], fov: 35 }}>
      <Stage>
        <InstrumentAirPackage />
      </Stage>
      <OrbitControls makeDefault />
    </Canvas>
  )
}

P&ID

P&ID symbol for instrument-air-package

Dash-dot package boundary containing an air compressor (screw symbol or generic compressor), a twin-tower desiccant dryer (two tall capsules side by side), filters, and the air receiver (vertical vessel) before the instrument-air (IA) header.

tag Xtag AISA PTISA PSLLISA ATISO 10628-2 / PIP PIC001 (package boundary with contents)

Two identical tall capsules side by side = dryer towers. Often only the package box with IA outlet and the receiver are shown on the utilities P&ID. ISA codes here: AT = dew point.

For agents

Machine-readable entry with props, ranges, defaults and ports:

$npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz info instrument-air-package

Or fetch /r/instrument-air-package.json, or copy a ready-made instruction:

Add the Deck Twin "Instrument air package" component to this project. Run `npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz add instrument-air-package` (it copies the file and the shared lib into src/components/deck-twin/), then `npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz info instrument-air-package` for its props, ranges and ports. Render <InstrumentAirPackage /> inside a React Three Fiber <Canvas shadows>, wrapped in <Stage> from src/components/deck-twin/lib/stage. Set props from my data (metres, NPS in inches, ASME class) and leave the rest at defaults. Install three, @react-three/fiber, @react-three/drei and @types/three if they're missing.
