Cementing unit (twin pump skid)

Offshore twin-pump cementing skid, about 7.5 × 2.5 m: two electric-driven triplex plunger pumps (TEFC motor, guarded coupling and reduction gearbox turning when running, crankcase, plunger windows, fluid end with hammer-lug valve caps) feeding an HP header with plug valves, transducer, gauge and pop-off valve to a 2" discharge flange. Recirculating mixer tub with agitator, mixing head under the bulk cement inlet, recirc pump and densitometer, mix-water inlet with butterfly valve. Two displacement tanks (tankBbl each) with sight gauges, grating top, handrail and ladder, a 4" suction header to both pumps, and an operator cabin with windows, console and roof A/C.

Installation

$npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz add cement-unit

Copies drilling/cement-unit.tsx and the shared lib/ into src/components/deck-twin/. Needs three, @react-three/fiber and @react-three/drei. See installation for the manual route.

Usage

import { Canvas } from '@react-three/fiber'
import { OrbitControls } from '@react-three/drei'
import { Stage } from './components/deck-twin/lib/stage'
import { CementUnit } from './components/deck-twin/drilling/cement-unit'

export default function Scene() {
  return (
    <Canvas shadows camera={{ position: [8, 5, 9], fov: 35 }}>
      <Stage>
        <CementUnit />
      </Stage>
      <OrbitControls makeDefault />
    </Canvas>
  )
}

P&ID

P&ID symbol for cement-unit

On well-service schematics: a dash-dot skid boundary with displacement / mixing tanks and two reciprocating (triplex) pump symbols discharging into a common high-pressure line to the cement head or standpipe.

tag CUtag XISO 10628-2 / PIP PIC001 (package boundary; reciprocating pumps)

Twin reciprocating pumps on a skid with displacement tanks = cement unit; a single mud pump with a dampener is a mud-pump. Usually on temporary well-service layouts rather than process P&IDs.

For agents

Machine-readable entry with props, ranges, defaults and ports:

$npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz info cement-unit

Or fetch /r/cement-unit.json, or copy a ready-made instruction:

Add the Deck Twin "Cementing unit (twin pump skid)" component to this project. Run `npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz add cement-unit` (it copies the file and the shared lib into src/components/deck-twin/), then `npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz info cement-unit` for its props, ranges and ports. Render <CementUnit /> inside a React Three Fiber <Canvas shadows>, wrapped in <Stage> from src/components/deck-twin/lib/stage. Set props from my data (metres, NPS in inches, ASME class) and leave the rest at defaults. Install three, @react-three/fiber, @react-three/drei and @types/three if they're missing.
