Wellhead cyclonic desander

Skid-mounted wellhead desander: a liner housing with tangential inlet, cone and bolted cover with the overflow outlet on top, dual isolation gate valves down to a 2:1-head sand accumulator, sand dump valve and elbow to a flanged sand outlet, flush-water and depressuring connections, pressure gauge, and a lifting frame with support beams, bracing and padeyes. The housing and accumulator walls follow UG-27 for the design pressure.

Installation

$npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz add desander

Copies vessels/desander.tsx and the shared lib/ into src/components/deck-twin/. Needs three, @react-three/fiber and @react-three/drei. See installation for the manual route.

Usage

import { Canvas } from '@react-three/fiber'
import { OrbitControls } from '@react-three/drei'
import { Stage } from './components/deck-twin/lib/stage'
import { Desander } from './components/deck-twin/vessels/desander'

export default function Scene() {
  return (
    <Canvas shadows camera={{ position: [8, 5, 9], fov: 35 }}>
      <Stage>
        <Desander />
      </Stage>
      <OrbitControls makeDefault />
    </Canvas>
  )
}

P&ID

P&ID symbol for desander

A cyclone (short cylinder over an inverted cone) with a tangential inlet on the side and the overflow out of the top, the underflow dropping through two isolation valves into a sand accumulator vessel below that is dumped periodically.

A cone over an accumulator on a well stream = desander. Produced-water hydrocyclones are horizontal multi-liner vessels without the accumulator. ISA codes here: LT = sand; XV = dump.

For agents

Machine-readable entry with props, ranges, defaults and ports:

$npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz info desander

Or fetch /r/desander.json, or copy a ready-made instruction:

Add the Deck Twin "Wellhead cyclonic desander" component to this project. Run `npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz add desander` (it copies the file and the shared lib into src/components/deck-twin/), then `npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz info desander` for its props, ranges and ports. Render <Desander /> inside a React Three Fiber <Canvas shadows>, wrapped in <Stage> from src/components/deck-twin/lib/stage. Set props from my data (metres, NPS in inches, ASME class) and leave the rest at defaults. Install three, @react-three/fiber, @react-three/drei and @types/three if they're missing.
