Monorail with chain hoist

Runway beam (IPE or HEB, sized by SWL) hung from HEB goalpost supports at ≤ 6 m with base plates, anchor bolts and knee braces, end stops with rubber buffers and SWL marking. A push trolley with four flanged wheels on the bottom flange carries an electric chain hoist with motor, gearbox, chain bag and push-button pendant; round-link load chain to the bottom hook. trolley (0–1) moves it along X and hook sets the chain drop.

Installation

$npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz add monorail-hoist

Copies lifting/monorail-hoist.tsx and the shared lib/ into src/components/deck-twin/. Needs three, @react-three/fiber and @react-three/drei. See installation for the manual route.

Usage

import { Canvas } from '@react-three/fiber'
import { OrbitControls } from '@react-three/drei'
import { Stage } from './components/deck-twin/lib/stage'
import { MonorailHoist } from './components/deck-twin/lifting/monorail-hoist'

export default function Scene() {
  return (
    <Canvas shadows camera={{ position: [8, 5, 9], fov: 35 }}>
      <Stage>
        <MonorailHoist />
      </Stage>
      <OrbitControls makeDefault />
    </Canvas>
  )
}

P&ID

P&ID symbol for monorail-hoist

Plan view: a dash-dot or thick line along the runway beam labelled "monorail, SWL x t" from the equipment it serves to the drop or laydown zone; in elevation a beam with a trolley, hoist block and hook.

Layout plan convention (lifting / materials-handling study)

Shown on mechanical handling and layout drawings over pumps, compressors and exchangers that need lifting. Not on P&IDs.

For agents

Machine-readable entry with props, ranges, defaults and ports:

$npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz info monorail-hoist

Or fetch /r/monorail-hoist.json, or copy a ready-made instruction:

Add the Deck Twin "Monorail with chain hoist" component to this project. Run `npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz add monorail-hoist` (it copies the file and the shared lib into src/components/deck-twin/), then `npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz info monorail-hoist` for its props, ranges and ports. Render <MonorailHoist /> inside a React Three Fiber <Canvas shadows>, wrapped in <Stage> from src/components/deck-twin/lib/stage. Set props from my data (metres, NPS in inches, ASME class) and leave the rest at defaults. Install three, @react-three/fiber, @react-three/drei and @types/three if they're missing.
