Installation

$npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz add fire-hydrant

Copies safety/fire-hydrant.tsx and the shared lib/ into src/components/deck-twin/. Needs three, @react-three/fiber and @react-three/drei. See installation for the manual route.

Usage

import { Canvas } from '@react-three/fiber'
import { OrbitControls } from '@react-three/drei'
import { Stage } from './components/deck-twin/lib/stage'
import { FireHydrant } from './components/deck-twin/safety/fire-hydrant'

export default function Scene() {
  return (
    <Canvas shadows camera={{ position: [8, 5, 9], fov: 35 }}>
      <Stage>
        <FireHydrant />
      </Stage>
      <OrbitControls makeDefault />
    </Canvas>
  )
}

P&ID

P&ID symbol for fire-hydrant

Fire-protection layouts: a hydrant symbol (a circle with outlet stubs, or a pillar with two side outlets) on the underground firewater main, tagged H or FH; on the firewater P&ID a branch off the ring with an isolation valve.

tag FHtag HYDF&G / safety layout convention (NFPA 170 / ISO 7240-style plan symbols; legends vary by company); NFPA 24 / EN 14384

A riser with a nozzle barrel is a fire monitor; a reel is a hose reel. Pillar hydrants are onshore; offshore uses hose stations and monitors on the ring main.

For agents

Machine-readable entry with props, ranges, defaults and ports:

$npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz info fire-hydrant

Or fetch /r/fire-hydrant.json, or copy a ready-made instruction:

Add the Deck Twin "Pillar fire hydrant" component to this project. Run `npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz add fire-hydrant` (it copies the file and the shared lib into src/components/deck-twin/), then `npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz info fire-hydrant` for its props, ranges and ports. Render <FireHydrant /> inside a React Three Fiber <Canvas shadows>, wrapped in <Stage> from src/components/deck-twin/lib/stage. Set props from my data (metres, NPS in inches, ASME class) and leave the rest at defaults. Install three, @react-three/fiber, @react-three/drei and @types/three if they're missing.
