Point gas detector

Point gas detector in two real forms. ir: optical detector screwed horizontally into the side wall of an Ex d junction box (bolted lid, earth stud, gland and stopping plug), with perforated weather protection, a hollow sunshade/deluge hood and a remote gassing line to a capped calibration port. catalytic: Ex d transmitter with %LEL/ppm display and a down-pointing sinter head under a weather cap with calibration nozzle, plus an Ex d junction box. Free-standing stanchion or wall bracket; height sets the sensor elevation.

Installation

Copies safety/point-gas-detector.tsx and the shared lib/ into src/components/deck-twin/. Needs three, @react-three/fiber and @react-three/drei. See installation for the manual route.

Props

P&ID

On F&G layouts: a circle (or hexagon / triangle on some legends) with G, GD or the gas (HC, H2S, H2) inside or beside it, placed at the detector position with its tag. On cause & effect and some P&IDs it is an AT / GD bubble with the gas and LEL set points written beside it.

Point detectors are single symbols; open-path detectors are a pair joined by a beam line. Toxic (H2S, CO) detectors use the same symbol with the gas name; a separate toxic-gas-detector component covers electrochemical cells.
