Heat detector

Ex d fixed-temperature / rate-of-rise heat detector: red flameproof head with finned sensing element inside a guard cage, alarm LED, gland and stopping plug, rating on the tag. mount ceiling hangs it under steel on a beam clamp and drop rod (origin on the underside of the steel, head below); mount wall puts it under a stainless shelf bracket.

Installation

$npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz add heat-detector

Copies safety/heat-detector.tsx and the shared lib/ into src/components/deck-twin/. Needs three, @react-three/fiber and @react-three/drei. See installation for the manual route.

Usage

import { Canvas } from '@react-three/fiber'
import { OrbitControls } from '@react-three/drei'
import { Stage } from './components/deck-twin/lib/stage'
import { HeatDetector } from './components/deck-twin/safety/heat-detector'

export default function Scene() {
  return (
    <Canvas shadows camera={{ position: [8, 5, 9], fov: 35 }}>
      <Stage>
        <HeatDetector />
      </Stage>
      <OrbitControls makeDefault />
    </Canvas>

P&ID

P&ID symbol for heat-detector

Circle (or square on NFPA-style legends) with H or HD, placed on the ceiling plan of enclosed modules or near specific equipment (turbine hoods, battery rooms); fixed-temperature or rate-of-rise noted beside it.

tag HDISA TSHISA TAHF&G layout convention (NFPA 170 / ISO 7240-style plan symbols; legends vary by company)

Letters inside the circle distinguish detector types: H heat, S smoke, F flame, G gas. On some P&IDs heat detection is a TSH bubble or a fusible-plug loop on the instrument air.

For agents

Machine-readable entry with props, ranges, defaults and ports:

$npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz info heat-detector

Or fetch /r/heat-detector.json, or copy a ready-made instruction:

Add the Deck Twin "Heat detector" component to this project. Run `npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz add heat-detector` (it copies the file and the shared lib into src/components/deck-twin/), then `npx -y https://decktwin.com/cli/deck-twin-0.2.2.tgz info heat-detector` for its props, ranges and ports. Render <HeatDetector /> inside a React Three Fiber <Canvas shadows>, wrapped in <Stage> from src/components/deck-twin/lib/stage. Set props from my data (metres, NPS in inches, ASME class) and leave the rest at defaults. Install three, @react-three/fiber, @react-three/drei and @types/three if they're missing.
